    Verdantas is a national consulting group seeking a talented

    Civil or Environmental Engineer from the graduating class of 2024

    to join our team in the

    Dover, Delaware

    Office.

    Responsibilities:
    Assist Project Managers with technical, civil and/or environmental engineering design
    Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:

    water and wastewater infrastructure design
    Stormwater management design
    Site grading
    Erosion and sediment control design
    Prepare plans for agency/municipal review
    Review of plans for compliance with agency regulations
    Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications
    Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors

    Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand
    Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
    0–2 years of experience in municipal infrastructure, land development, or civil-site engineering design
    Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D preferred
    Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software
    Knowledge of green infrastructure practices, such as bioretention systems, permeable pavement, infiltration systems, and green roofs
    EIT Preferred
    Familiarity with ArcGIS software is preferred
    Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
