    Position Summary

    The main goal of this role is to provide applied electrical engineering and technical support for customers regarding power system studies, power quality analysis, installation, maintenance, and repair.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct assessments on electric power systems focusing on protection, short-circuit calculation, arc-flash hazard analysis, and design enhancements.
    • Analyze results, prepare reports, proposals, and solutions.
    • Enhance electrical designs to support facility upgrades.
    • Meet customers on-site to understand their requirements.
    • Provide cost estimates and bid proposals.
    • Implement safe, reliable, and cost-effective electrical systems.
    • Offer technical support and quality control for projects.
    • Interpret power system wiring diagrams accurately.
    • Follow electrical safety procedures.
    • Demonstrate good problem-solving skills and a solid grasp of electrical theory.
    • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
    • Display good judgment, organizational skills, and customer service orientation.
    • Resolve client issues by collaborating with stakeholders.
    • Utilize computer skills for research and project management.
    • Capable of physical requirements such as climbing ladders and lifting equipment.
    • Flexible work hours and willingness to travel as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Experience and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years in the field.
    • Experience with SKM, ETAP, and Easypower Studies.
    • Previous professional experience in power engineering and industrial projects.
    • Knowledge of power system analysis software.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in technical areas.
    • Project management skills and cost accountability.
    • Ability to design technical solutions based on customer requests.
    • Proficiency in Short-Circuit, LV/MV Coordination, Arc Flash.
    • Ability to work independently on medium projects.
    • Familiarity with industry standards like NETA, NEC, OSHA, and NFPA.
    • Strong communication and time management skills.
    • Customer-focused and detail-oriented.
    • Focus on accuracy and efficiency.
    • Valid driver's license for roles involving company vehicles.
