JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY:


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
  • Wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components according to blueprint specifications.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Perform tests on finished products before packaging
  • Maintain inventory of products in workstations.
Performs other duties as required.


SKILLS:


  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, parts lists, work instructions, work order travelers, and drawings with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to perform simple measurements with scales, calipers, various gauges, and hand micrometers.
  • Ability to utilize handheld tools such as tweezers, jigs, fixtures, crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
  • Must be attentive to details.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and in written form.

Note:
A soldering examination will be part of the hiring process.


KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:


  • Working knowledge and understanding of schematics.
  • Experience in Circuit Card Manufacturing.

Minimum Requirement:


CITIZENSHIP:
US Citizenship required


EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent


CERTIFICATION:
Certification to military standard IPC-610


EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years experience in the assembling of electronic sub-assemblies or related products
