Summary


Department:
Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Shift timings: 16:00 - 1:30- Monday to friday (4 Days/10 Hours)

Per Week: 40 Hours

Perform exams on a Siemens 1.5T MRI scanner Level II Trauma facility

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce crosssectional images of the body.
  • Perform patient prescreening, scheduling, and education related to the examination.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develop film in an automatic processor.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure prompt submission of highquality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
