Title:
POS Support Specialist with Deskside Support


Responsibilities:


  • POS Support on various hardware and software
  • POS Troubleshooting and Repair
  • Provide Windows, software, and hardware support, onsite in a corporate environment
  • Diagnose and repair printers
  • Setup, configure, and test hardware and software components;
  • Provide telephone, remote, and onsite support for clients in order to provide quick resolution to problems;
  • Maintain technical knowledge related to our suite of hardware and software product lines including POS Systems
  • Prioritize and complete work in a group and independently with mínimal supervision
  • Communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences
  • Provide 'White Glove' support for senior leadership and VIPs
  • Maintain a professional demeanor around celebrity personnel
  • Guide and mentor team members advanced technical level procedures
  • Experience using ticketing systems (Viva ticketing systems a plus)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- +2 years corporate deskside support or equivalent experience

  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Ability to solve both hardware and software issues pertaining to POS Systems with little or no supervision
  • Capable of walking long distances
  • Walk, bend, stand for prolong periods of time, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Demonstrate high level of professionalism and strong personal interaction skills
  • Maintain neat and professional work area and appearance in compliance with site policies
  • Ability to pass standard panel drug screening and background check
  • Adhere to assigned shift schedule
  • Ability to maintain composure while handle challenging, dynamic, rapidresponse user support
  • Experience with Microsoft Office / Office 365 suite
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, various Windows operating systems, and networking;
  • Good written and oral skills;
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while in the office or in the field;
  • Experience in configuration, installation, training and support of hardware or software products.

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour
