Dialysis Equipment Technician

The Dialysis Equipment Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the functionality and safety of dialysis equipment, supplies, and facilities to guarantee patients receive top-quality care with utmost safety.

Schedule:

Full-time position from Monday to Friday, starting shifts at 8:00 am; on-call availability occasionally required.

Compensation:

Starting pay from $26.50 per hour, based on technical expertise and experience in dialysis equipment; prior experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

Repair, calibrate, and maintain dialysis equipment for optimal performance and safety
Adhere to AAMI standards for water safety and reprocessing
Manage routine maintenance and repairs of water systems
Record all maintenance and repair activities following DCI and clinic guidelines
Conduct air quality tests and maintain documentation, taking necessary actions as needed
Oversee inventory tasks as assigned
Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and medical waste
Follow strict infection control protocols
Perform minor building maintenance duties
Collaborate with nurse managers, AOD, and vendors for facility repairs
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and risk management programs
