    Scope of Position

    A fast-growing Consumer Products company, known for its team-centric environment, and high employee retention rate, needs an Accounting Associate to join the team.This position will offer great training from experienced accounting and finance professionals, with plenty of opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic, supportive environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare journal entries and maintain a general ledger
    • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
    • Assist in Accounts Payable
    • Assist in creating and maintaining financial data dashboards
    • Assist with financial management tasks, such as budgeting and forecasting
    • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance, required
    • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), required
    • Knowledge of journal entries and financial statement preparation
    • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
    • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
