The Social Media Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Lulus social and marketing teams across all current and future social media accounts to support social growth, content creation, copywriting & strategy.

Reporting to the Social Media Marketing Manager, you'll be proactive in bringing social-first ideas to the forefront that align with the broader marketing strategy, while educating and engaging the Lulus' community.

This is an ideal role for someone who is strategic, collaborative, passionate about social media, and excited to help craft and execute Lulus' social strategy.

This role is a hybrid role and is required to be in the office on Tuesdays through Thursdays.


What You'll Do

  • Support the Social Media team with daily operations including, but not limited to, social planning and copy, community engagement, reporting, and more across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Pinterest accounts/emerging social media platforms
  • Assist in managing overarching social media strategy and execution by brainstorming, pitching, and conceptualizing original content ideas and social franchises for social media platforms
  • Enhance best practices and meet brand social KPIs by tracking and reporting on trends and cultural moments, pitching ideas to keep our social channels relevant to the Internet landscape and our customer's mindset
  • Organize social media communication plans for major brand activations including ownership of the social media calendar. Understand social posting pacing based on business plans and trends
  • Compliment visual assets with strong commercial copywriting skills
  • Develop content as needed based on marketing briefs and optimize for best performance on each social channel
  • Capture organic/authentic/fun content at photoshoots exclusive for social media, giving users a sneak peek and behindthescenes peek at our studio operations
  • Using a deep understanding and sensitivity of Internet culture, find ways to harmoniously include Lulus' brand identity into that space to become noticed and widely circulated
  • Closely analyze results to inform the team of noticed trends, successes, and opportunities
  • Postcampaign analysis recaps and ownership of alwaysonchannel documents including monthly, and quarterly decks and contributions to crossfunctional social team documents
  • Communicate with social audiences to build connections, resolve customer service issues, and educate consumers on product assortment
  • Heavily monitor channels for issues management, and customer sentiment, and escalate any consumer concerns to appropriate team members
  • Partner with customer service to ensure comments/questions are responded to within 24 hours
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Lulus marketing team

What You'll Need

  • 12 years of social media experience with key social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok
  • Familiarity with the Lulus brand, brand voice, and Lulus customerfirst Lulus approach.
  • Passionate about the fashion industry and in tune with Gen Z culture
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of best practices and content types for social platforms, including trend activation
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Dash Hudson, Sprinklr, etc.
  • Passionate and openminded about Internet culture and its everchanging landscape
  • Able to build relationships and work collaboratively with members of multiple teams
  • Proficient in mobile creative apps, and inapp editing
  • Must be willing to travel and cover events

  • Experience creating content for social channels, including photography, videography, and an eye for graphic design
