Mulberry is looking for skilled automotive mechatronics technicians with a focus on commercial vehicle technology. This is a recognized 3.5-year apprenticeship program in the industry and trade. The profession is regulated and recognized nationwide according to the Vocational Training Act (BBiG).


As an apprentice, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, other construction vehicles, and cars.

You will inspect vehicle systems and attachments, perform repairs, and potentially equip vehicles with additional systems and special equipment. You will also learn how to procure spare parts and manage inventory.

Your work will be documented in maintenance plans, and you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workshop.


Requirements for the apprenticeship include a qualifying secondary school diploma or intermediate school leaving certificate, technical understanding, and manual dexterity.

You should also be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to handle a heavy workload. A friendly demeanor and good communication skills are also important.


The apprenticeship program lasts for 3.5 years, and the theoretical part of the training will take place one to two times a week at the vocational school in Kelheim.
