Job Summary
You bring exceptional problem-solving skills, with a foundational understanding of sales, operations, and general business management. You have experience in managing complex projects and KPIs that support a retail eco-system.
Your understanding of the industry, along with ability to understand data, will be critical as you develop recommendations to senior stakeholders around retail's growth and expansion.
You are a proactive strategic thinker and can work independently and collaboratively across the organization. This role reports to the Director of Retail Operations and Tools.Responsibilities
Be a story-teller - support VP of Retail in creating strategies to guide future retail opportunities, building businesses cases, market expansion, retail operations business reviews
Deep-dive into retail store operations, compliance, and sales quality to ensure effective business management
Oversee retail budget, tracking, and goal setting, including headcount modeling and requisition approvals, retail uniforms, payroll/overtime, product inventory, etc
Influence external and internal cross-functional partners
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, business, or equivalent
Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in business management or sales operations
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, e.g., Excel and/or other analytics tools, Lists, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc
Experience story-telling through data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
Proactive, self-motivated, self-sufficient with strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Strong project/program management skills and ability to pair strategic thinking with execution excellence
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data-points into easily consumable insights
Curious and detail oriented - leave no stone unturned, but has the business acumen to prioritize actions
Desire to grow and learn
Willing to travel up to 25% to be regularly present in the Optimum field across the footprint
