    Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

    Duration: School Year SY)

    Pay: Starting at $33 per hour

    Hours: 35 hours per week

    Location: California (CA)

    Employment Type: Contract Position

    Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. As an SLPA, you will work alongside licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide vital support to students in need of speech and language services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement speech and language therapy activities as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
    • Work with students both individually and in small groups to address communication goals.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session notes.

    Requirements:

    • Valid SLPA license issued by the state of California.
    • State clearances as required for school employment.
    • Experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
