    Description
    Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

    Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

    Location: Los Angeles, CA

    Start Date: ASAP

    End Date: June 30th

    Hours: 30-32 hours per week

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide speech-language pathology assistant services exclusively through makeup therapy sessions.
    • Implement therapeutic interventions and strategies to address communication goals.
    • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and session notes.
    • Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines.
    • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
    • Ensure a positive and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology assistant program or related field.
    • Valid SLPA license issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board.
    • Previous experience in speech therapy or related field preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation.
