    Job Description

    Job DescriptionPosition Summary for the Maintenance Technician: The Maintenance Technician will maintain and improve stamping and secondary equipment to produce quality product while providing safe and efficient machine operation.
    Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
    • Ensure all safety, failsafe, and ergonomic features are functional.
    • Mechanical/electrical set up and adjustments of equipment prior to production.
    • Performs assigned preventive and scheduled maintenance on all equipment and machinery.
    • Corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdowns and repairs/replaces part, motors, control devices, as needed.
    • Performs installation, start-up, and tryout of all new manufacturing and plant equipment and systems.
    • Fabricate and repair equipment by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
    • Update and keep accurate records of machine programs, maintenance records, safety, and machine performance.
    • Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
    • Continuously improve equipment to make it as safe and efficient as possible.
    • Prior PLC experience a plus.
    • Support production as needed.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
    Skills/Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician :
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience in preventative maintenance, mechanical trouble-shooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, welding, electrical (high and low voltage)
    • Must be team oriented.
