Job Summary


A tenured client has an immediate opening for a maintenance planner to support the ongoing maintenance projects within the chemical manufacturing facility.

Additionally, act as the communication link between maintenance and production for near and long-term scheduling of maintenance routine work and plant outages.

Participate in maintenance improvement projects and teams.


What You'll Do:


  • Schedule work based upon priority, material and staff availability, operational schedule and other established criteria.
  • Handle the intake and documentation of all maintenance work orders.
  • Organize and update work order files.
  • Interface with maintenance personnel leadership for work instructions and planning.
  • Monitor maintenance workload distribution and performance.
  • Analyze weekly maintenance metrics and work with operations and maintenance leadership to ensure metrics are achieved.
  • Update CMMS per change control to reflect accurate data, work plans, and frequencies.
  • Analyze CMMS data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Provide plant engineering assistance and inplant operations as required

Your Background Should Include:


  • Five or more years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • At least one year of maintenance planning experience.
  • Experience with SAP Maintenance module is a strong plus as is experience using Microsoft Office software and Outlook.
