    Job Opportunity – Progressive Care RN – Western North Carolina

    Start Date: March 9, 2026
    Location: Asheville, North Carolina
    Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
    Schedule: 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; no on-call

    Highlights:

    • 20-bed progressive care overflow unit serving medical-surgical and step-down patient populations
    • Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 stretch, dependent on acuity level
    • Fast-paced environment with short-stay patients and quick turnover
    • Telemetry monitoring at bedside with all patients hardwired to monitors
    • Electronic Medical Records via Cerner
    • Work at a highly recognized facility with Magnet designation and multiple national quality honors

    Requirements:

    • Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
    • Telemetry competency required
    • Progressive care nursing experience required
    • Recent progressive care experience strongly preferred
    • BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Willingness to float to other units as needed
