- Creation of 3D designs utilizing Solidworks
- Creation of 2D manufacturing prints with critical tolerance definition.
- Assist with product manufacturing startup including developing assembly instructions
- Support manufacturing team during product manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline from an accredited four-year college or university
- 3 or more years of related experience
- A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Project management and analytical skills
- Experience working in 3D design software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Direct experience with product development from concept design through production release
- Experience with 2D drawings and ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
- Experience with plastic injection molding, additive manufacturing and CNC Machining
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills

We develop communication products and equipment for the US Military, Law Enforcement and 1st responders. We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer. This position is focused on product design, design for manufacturing, production start-up and production support.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for: supporting the design of Freedom Atlantic mechanical and electro-mechanical products and systems using Solidworks CAD design software.
