    Description
    Kubernetes Platform Engineer, Senior

    You will work with other developers and engineers using Agile processes to perform full life cycle development, including the design, implementation, and testing of secure runtime platforms, and other management capabilities, to host containerized mission application and support Cloud-to-Edge DevSecOps solutions.

    You will use technologies such as containers, Kubernetes, Helm, and other supporting tools to develop a secure and reliable application platform designed for disconnected environments at the tactical edge.

    You will use technologies such as Ansible, Rancher tools, and GitLab to develop automated configuration management processes and automated pipelines for deployment to targeted remote devices.

    You will apply your deep knowledge of Kubernetes, modern automation and configuration management processes, and modern application deployment techniques to deliver production-ready infrastructure, work on complex problems, and provide highly innovative solutions.

    10+ years of experience with platform management, DevOps, Cloud, and infrastructure in an industry environment
    5+ years of experience migrating or deploying containerized applications into Kubernetes
    5+ years of experience configuring networking and ingress, storage, and security in Kubernetes
    5+ years of experience configuring or integrating logging, monitoring, and metrics capabilities into Kubernetes
    3+ years of experience with automation and scripting, including Ansible and bash scripts
    3+ years of experience developing Helm charts, and developing DevOps pipelines in tools such as GitLab CI
    Knowledge of networking concepts and how to troubleshoot issues
    Secret clearance
    Bachelor's degree
    Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
    Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA), Kubernetes and Cloud Native Security Associate (KCSA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) Certification
    Secret clearance is required.

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.Our people-first culture prioritizes the benefits of flexibility and collaboration, whether that happens in person or remotely.
