Production Management Team:
analyzing production capacity, line balance, production scheduling, and monthly production closing. Complete and implement KPI's for the department. Also, perform internal audits to ensure our facility meets requirements.

Increased operation rate/ Stabilized line balance/ Reduced operator & machine issues/ Improved overall production environment/ Prompt troubleshooting/ Sophisticated production schedule/ Flawless production closingYou should be a good problem solver with creative approach to your tasks, deeply concerned about quality and efficiency and well-versed in the latest technology trends and best practices.

Production Engineer I responsibilities are:

Work with a "Safety Always" mindset through supporting and promoting continuous improvement of safety and health in the workplacePerform all duties with a "Quality First" mindset through improvement of work processes and procedures to eliminate and prevent defectsDevelop and maintain a "big picture" focus and understanding of the complete tire manufacturing process within the first 3-months of employmentEstablish good rapport and build working relationships and networks with peers, technicians and other employees to develop a strong network/ support baseRemain current with professional practices and maintain a high awareness of new products and procedures in the industry.

Monitor trade publications and actively participate in professional organizationsCommunicate information timely and clearlyAssist higher-level engineers by developing improvement ideas and perform other activities as requiredDevelop a flexible personal work schedule as TP is a 24/7 operation to ensure necessary work is completed to meet required deadlines through taking ownership in your area of responsibilityPerform routine duties requiring application and knowledge of basic engineering principlesPrepare simple and routine plans, calculations and cost estimates by following standard engineering practices and proceduresInterpret engineering specifications and solve routine problems by applying defined procedures with proven precedentSystematically identify causes of problems and identify possible solutions in a Plan - Do - Check - Analysis methodologyDrive cooperation between operators and schedulers to support equipment up-time objectivesDevelop an understanding of the manufacturing system and use it when making production schedules and performing production closingAnalyze production capacity and bottleneck improvementAnalyze and improve line balance, operation rates, and productivity in all areasTroubleshoot issues with production in a timely mannerCreate daily and weekly production schedules by understanding overall operation of the plant, customer demands, inventory levels, and production constraintsSupport the implementation of more efficient processes by focusing on opportunities for improvementParticipate in Value Stream Mapping activities to identify NVA and eliminate redundancy and wastePerform other duties as assignedProduction Engineer I requirements are:Education:(Required)

Bachelor's degree, field of science or learning major(Preferred) Computer Sciences/Industrial Engineering major or advanced degree in a related fieldExperience:
(Required) 0+ years of proven engineering experience in the manufacturing industry(Preferred)

Relevant experience preferred to include internships or Co-opsPhysical Demands:
