Description

We are looking for a Senior Physician (m/f/d) in Acute Geriatrics to join our team at the Juraklinik Scheßlitz in full-time or part-time.

The Acute Geriatrics department has 20 beds and focuses on the acute medical treatment of multimorbid patients with the goal of promoting their well-being during their hospital stay and preventing them from becoming dependent on care after recovery.

The Geriatrics department works closely with all other departments in the clinic.

*Your profile

Specialist (m/f/d) in Internal Medicine or General Medicine with additional qualification in Geriatrics
Several years of professional experience in a clinical setting, ideally in Acute Geriatrics
Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating older patients
Team-oriented approach and high social competence in dealing with patients and colleagues
Willingness to work interdisciplinary and contribute to the development of geriatric care

*Your tasks

Diagnosing and treating older patients with acute illnesses and functional disorders
Interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments for holistic patient care
Supervision and training of resident physicians and nursing staff in the field of Geriatrics
Participation in on-call duty
