Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage the customer receivables collection process. Ensure timely payment of open invoices by sending invoice reminders, contacting customers, and working through customer payment portals.
  • Research and resolve customer deductions, work with sales representatives on disputing invalid deductions & investigate short payments, and obtain chargeback copies with necessary backup.
  • Work with Chief Financial Officer and Controller on risk assessment and credit exposure on Accounts receivable and deductions.
  • Work with brokers on commissions, sending statements and supporting documentation.
  • View customer portals to ensure all EDI invoices have been transmitted appropriately.
  • Create and maintain accounts receivable aging reports, ensuring the aging ties out to the general ledger.
  • Help with miscellaneous accounts receivable requests as necessary

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business
  • 2+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounting experience
  • Selfstarter with a willingness to work handson and work crossfunctionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to research transactions and bring them to a conclusion.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service orientation with an exceptional degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
