    Job Summary and Qualifications

    The RN Lung Clinic Coordinator plays a crucial role in assessing needs, educating patients, and coordinating care for Lung patients undergoing transplantation. This role involves communication with patients, families, healthcare teams, and insurers to ensure a comprehensive care plan.

    What to Expect:

    Monitoring patients throughout their transplantation journey and addressing their physical, emotional, and financial needs

    Coordinating pre-admission processes and visits for patients and donors

    Collaborating with healthcare providers across departments for seamless patient care

    Facilitating long-term follow-up care and providing patient education

    Ensuring timely communication and documentation with all involved parties

    Qualifications:

    A Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, along with recent clinical experience in Lung/ECMO/Transplant settings and case management/utilization

    This position mandates full COVID-19 vaccination compliance as per regulations, with exceptions allowed for medical or religious reasons.

    Required License and Certificates: Registered Nurse license in Texas
