    Description

    Mission Statement:

    Caregivers demonstrate a high level of empathy, compassion and profound respect while providing excellence of care to our patients. They serve as advocates for all of those in our Northeast Ohio community, especially the most vulnerable.
    Medical Assistant must be motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive manner.

    Maintain patient records, prepare examination rooms before physicians or nurses need them, assist with exams, complete assignments such as blood drawing, coding administering medications and taking.

    Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.


    • Greet and check in in patients arriving at the clinic. Prepare treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assist practitioners with medical procedures and other patient care.
    • Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
    • Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
    • HS Diploma or GED and completion of a certified medical assistant program, Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
    Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
    Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience
    Data coding experience
