- Oversee the manufacturing processes for composite components and materials, ensuring production schedules are met.
- Collaborate with Quality Control teams to ensure that composite components meet stringent quality and safety standards.
- Address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Explore and integrate innovative composite materials and processes, including advanced materials, to enhance product quality and performance.
- Work with Quality Control Team to define and document technical specifications and requirements for composite manufacturing, considering advanced materials and technologies.
- Contribute creative ideas and concepts to enhance the production of composite components and materials, with a focus on composites and advanced materials.
- Assist in the development and management of the composite manufacturing budget.
- Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to the Global Site Manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in composite manufacturing.
- Facilitate safety training and adherence.
- Assist Maintenance team in defining and executing preventative and ongoing maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to composite manufacturing processes, materials, and advanced material specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in composite manufacturing and management, with a strong background in composites and advanced materials, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and innovation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Budget management experience.
