Siena College, a NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference is seeking applications for an Assistant Athletic Director/Fan Engagement to manage the Fan Relations Management Center located at the MVP Arena, Albany, NY.
Specific responsibilities will include, overseeing ticket sales for men's and women's basketball programs and other selected athletic events; assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies for fan experience initiatives and sponsored events; maintain customer database information to enhance and expand marketing efforts and sales of basketball tickets; implement strategies to enhance the fan experience from pre-point of purchase to in-game satisfaction; and act as liaison with the College's student experience office.
Annual Salary:
$59,500.00
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, 1-3 years' experience in the fundamentals of marketing and development of communication plans preferred.
A knowledge of various software platforms such as TicketMaster, Vozzi, SideArm, and a knowledge of social media and NCAA rules is preferred.
Candidates must possess a valid NYS driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment.
A background screening will be required.Additional Information:
Siena College offers a generous benefit package to eligible full-time employees.
The benefit package currently includes a retirement plan contribution equal to 10% of an eligible participant's compensation (as defined under the plan) after meeting the plan's eligibility requirements, and tuition reimbursement and exchange opportunities for eligible employees, spouses, and dependents.
Eligible college employees currently enjoy a work schedule that includes half-day Fridays in the summer and an expansive holiday schedule, including up to two weeks off during winter break.
