Description

Fast paced production style work environment sorting, washing, drying, and folding clothing and other têxtile items. Must meet deadlines, work effectively and quickly, placing a high value on quality of production. Must be able to follow directions & correct errors. Must be able to be considerate of other team members and work well together. Must be able to take initiative and work independently. Will assist customers who are dropping off, picking up, or doing their own laundry using the coin machines in the store. Ensure that machines are well kept and that customers are following instructions when using machines. Remove stains from items using the appropriate procedures. Clean machines & store including wiping down machines/tables, sweeping & mopping. Operate cash register and point of sale computer system. Open or close store when needed. Pleasant attitude, personable, willingness to assist customers. Follow procedures. Schedule is determined by management with consideration to employees. May need to fill in for other attendants periodically. Initial training period will be provided. Must be able to learn within a reasonable time with the goal of working independently.
