**SCHEDULE:**

**Work hours will vary based on need**

**Position responsibilities:**

1. Transport consumers to and from designated appointments.

2. Transport medications to be delivered to consumers.

3. Communicate with the team regarding consumer concerns and/or transportation issues for the consumer.

4. Attend team, department and Agency meetings as required.

5. Maintain the MHC vehicles in optimal condition and report any concerns to the Transportation Supervisor.

6. Must inspect assigned vehicle at the beginning of work shift and complete vehicle inspection form.

7. Complete all required paperwork in a legible and timely manner.

8. Respond expediently to all communication with office.

9. Responsible for managing route, which includes calling consumers prior to leaving the office and planning route effectively.

**Essential skills and experience:**

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

**Essential requirements for the position:**

Valid Tennessee Drivers License

Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

F Endorsement

Acceptable Criminal Background Investigation

Personal Automobile Insurance

Must be 25 years of age or older
