- Supervises the activities and personnel engaged in shipping product within their assigned department and shift.
- Ensure trailers are scheduled and loaded according to authorized procedures.
- Interprets applies and/or enforces all company policies programs rules regulations labor contracts and safety rules.
- Achieve departmental plant and corporate goals for safety quality and productivity.
- Promote clean safe work areas thought the plant by continuously checking for hazardous conditions.
- Leading employees in continuous improvement activities
- Maintaining employee morale by portraying a positive image of the company.
- Develop direct and manage shipping personnel and train them to properly utilize all equipment and tools.
- Direct personnel to maintain product quality and meet customers' requirements.
- Consistently administers company policies and practices regarding attendance performance etc.
- Communicates with employees on a regular basis.
- Expected to participate in activities such as training and safety programs in order to enhance the overall effectiveness of the work area(s) involved.
- Maintains the technical and managerial skills required to effectively administer the production process.
- Strong analytical problem solving delegation and conflict resolution skills.

- Solid math skills and measurements are essential.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Organizational Relationship
Position reports directly to Logistics Superintendent and supports our Masterbrand Cabinets division based in Weslaco TX.
Accountabilities:
Responsable de la supervisin de las actividades operativas de acuerdo con las polticas, procedimientos y estndares del departamento para lograr los horarios de produccin establecidos y los niveles de calidad deseados.
Relacin Organizativa
El puesto reporta directamente al Superintendente de Logstica y brinda apoyo a nuestra divisin de Masterbrand Cabinets con sede en Weslaco, TX.
Responsabilidades:
Supervisa las actividades y al personal encargado de enviar productos dentro de su departamento y turno asignados. Asegura que los remolques se programen y carguen segn los procedimientos autorizados. Interpreta, aplica y/o hace cumplir todas las polticas, programas, reglas, regulaciones, contratos laborales y normas de seguridad de la empresa. Logra los objetivos departamentales, de la planta y corporativos en materia de seguridad, calidad y productividad. Promueve reas de trabajo limpias y seguras en toda la planta mediante la verificacin continua de condiciones peligrosas. Lidera a los empleados en actividades de mejora continua. Mantiene la moral de los empleados proyectando una imagen positiva de la empresa. Desarrolla, dirige y gestiona al personal de envos y los capacita para utilizar correctamente todo el equipo y las herramientas. Dirige al personal para mantener la calidad del producto y cumplir con los requisitos de los clientes. Administra de manera consistente las polticas y prcticas de la empresa con respecto a la asistencia, el rendimiento, etc. Se comunica regularmente con los empleados. Se espera que participe en actividades como programas de capacitacin y seguridad para mejorar la efectividad general de las reas de trabajo involucradas.
Conocimientos, habilidades y experiencia:
Mantiene las habilidades tcnicas y gerenciales necesarias para administrar eficazmente el proceso de produccin. Posee habilidades slidas de anlisis, resolucin de problemas, delegacin y resolucin de conflictos. Cuenta con habilidades excepcionales de liderazgo, interpersonales y organizativas. Tiene habilidades slidas de comunicacin escrita y verbal. Debe ser adaptable al cambio y tener la capacidad/deseo de marcar la diferencia. Se requieren habilidades slidas en matemticas y medidas. La aptitud mecnica es una ventaja. Se prefiere un mnimo de 2-4 aos de experiencia supervisora en envos. Se prefiere el conocimiento de equipos informatizados. Se prefiere el conocimiento de la industria de gabinetes.
Qualifications
BS degree or AS degree in a technical or business related field is preferred.
