    Required Qualifications

    • 6-8 years' experience in setting up and supporting Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence, JSM etc.).
    • Basic SQL and JQL query experience.
    • Experience customizing workflows, setting up dashboards, and generating reports.
    • Experience with Jira Service Desk.
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
    • Experience with scripting and programming such as Python will be added advantage.
    • Willingness to work on a fast-paced team with a high-performance culture.

    Experience managing a 1000 user environment is expected.

    • Experience working with Plugins that we use like Script runner, R4J etc. could be an added advantage.
    • Migration Leadership: Lead the migration of all Jira projects to the new SDLC, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruptions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement the necessary changes for project migration.
    • Configuration and Customization: Manage and customize Jira configurations to align with the new SDLC optimizing workflows and issue types. Implement automation rules and scripts to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.
    • User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on the new SDLC processes within Jira. Address and resolve user issues, ensuring a positive user experience throughout the migration.
    • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the new Jira configurations and processes. Document best practices and guidelines for users to follow in the post-migration phase.
    • Integration Management: Collaborate with other tools and systems integrated with Jira to ensure a seamless data flow and integration with the new SDLC.
    • Customize Jira workflows, fields, screens, and schemes to align with the agency's project management processes.
    • Implement and manage plugins and add-ons to enhance Jira functionality.
    • Configure new modules to meet agency needs.
    • Administer user permissions and security settings to ensure appropriate access levels.
    • Work closely with the Information Security Team to ensure a safe Atlassian environment.
    • Troubleshoot user access issues.
    • Work closely with the IT team on projects such as major upgrades, data migrations, automations, plugin selection, and integration with other system
    • Provide ongoing support and training to solution users within the agency.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues related to Jira functionality.
    • Create and maintain documentation on best practices and usage guidelines.
    • Integrate Jira with other tools and systems used within the agency to facilitate seamless collaboration.
    • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure the proper functioning of integrations and data exchanges.
    • Partner with stakeholders to update maps and assignments.
    • Monitoring and Performance Optimization.
    • Monitor solution performance and implement optimizations to ensure optimal efficiency.
    • Conduct regular system health checks and address any identified issues.
    • Plan and execute Jira software upgrades in coordination with the IT team.
    • Test new features and functionalities introduced in vendor updates to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
    • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into project progress and team productivity.
    • Writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, RCA for Incidents and training materials.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and implement solutions accordingly.
    • Experience writing scripts or using other automation technologies to eliminate or reduce manual effort.
    • Experience architecting new solutions to create transparency in automated dashboards leveraging data from the agile and product toolset.
    • Experience with agile and product tooling (Atlassian products).
    • Good collaborator with strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Understands and models' agile behaviors and concepts.
    • Demonstrated continuous learner, with proven record of working with new technologies.
