    Your Responsibilities

    Instructional Duties:

    • Inspire and guide students in classes.
    • Create engaging lesson plans and materials.
    • Provide objective feedback on student performance.
    • Utilize approved teaching plans and additional materials when needed.
    • Maintain secure assessments and documentation.
    • Use learning systems for improved education.
    • Ensure classes meet required duration.

    Student Interaction:

    • Foster a positive learning environment.
    • Lead professionally and offer constructive feedback.
    • Engage in student retention efforts.
    • Maintain accurate student records and grades.
    • Provide tutoring support and manage makeup work.
    • Collaborate with Program Director and Academic Dean for guidance.
    • Adhere to campus policies.

    Related Duties, Outside the Classroom:

    • Handle administrative tasks efficiently.
    • Stay updated on teaching best practices.
    • Engage in professional development activities.
    • Attend workshops and seminars for skill enhancement.
    • Participate in campus events and meetings.
    • Contribute to graduation ceremonies and community activities.
    • Support inventory management and equipment upkeep.
    • Promote a positive campus culture.
    • Assist various campus departments when needed.
    • Participate in student initiatives.
    • Support Clinical or Externship visits.
    • Embrace additional assigned tasks.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent AND a degree, certificate, or license in the relevant field.
    • Minimum of three years of dental assistant work experience.
    • Current CPR certification.
