Description

The city of Carlock is responsible for providing safe and cost-effective drinking water to its residents.

This includes sourcing water from six springs and two deep wells, treating it in six water treatment plants, and storing it in eleven underground tanks with a total capacity of approximately m3.

The water is then distributed to customers through a network of approximately 180 km of pipelines.

To strengthen our team in the water supply department, we are seeking a full-time, permanent Water Master (m/f/d) or Water Supply Technician (m/f/d) to join us as soon as possible or by agreement.

Your responsibilities as the current operations manager's successor may include:

• Independently managing the water supply department as the operations manager
• Administering and providing professional guidance to employees
• Acting as a point of contact for customers, authorities, contractors, developers, and engineering firms
• Ensuring compliance with relevant quality and safety standards in the drinking water supply
• Managing the operation of water supply facilities, including water extraction, treatment, storage, and distribution
• Controlling and monitoring water supply facilities using a process control system, setting process parameters, and analyzing data
• Planning, monitoring, and accounting for investment and maintenance measures
• Assisting in the preparation of tender documents and monitoring budgets
• Detecting and resolving malfunctions, including participating in oncall duty

Until then, you will work as a Water Supply Technician with expanded responsibilities to gradually familiarize yourself with your future tasks.
