Description

To strengthen our R&D team, we are looking for a Head of Process Engineering (m/f/d) for our research laboratory in Bremerhaven.

Your responsibilities

  • Leading, developing (professionally and disciplinarily), and intrinsically motivating the subordinate employees, as well as initiating and participating in personnel measures in coordination with Human Resources
  • Management of ventures (projects with a duration of several years) and tasks, as well as experiments within these projects in coordination with the Venture Manager and documentation in the form of interim and final reports
  • Independent control and implementation of upscaling processes in close cooperation with internal interfaces (e.g. production, technology) and potentially with contract manufacturers
  • Participation in the creation of profitability calculations (e.g. ROI, cost considerations, budget planning) for the planning of new plants or plant expansions
  • Control of externally assigned test planning and creation of proofs of concept
  • Creation of pre-formulations, method development, template creation, data generation (experiments), and research work for patent acquisition, as well as support in the application for new patents
  • Observation of trends and developments in the field of process engineering

Your qualifications
