    Established in 1996, NOVA was originally founded to provide Environmental Consulting, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Materials Testing and Inspection services to the design and construction community, largely in the southeastern United States.

    NOVA Engineering is seeking an CMT Staff/Project Engineer for our Pensacola office.

    The primary focus of the position is technical execution and project management of work related mostly to Geotechnical Engineering, and some Materials Testing services, both office and field activities, during the planning, design, and construction phases of projects.

    Projects may be located all over the southeast US, but mostly focused in the Carolinas. Travel will be required at times. Some client development may be required as part of the role.


    Responsibilities:
    Preparing and executing reports and other client correspondenceProviding oversight, QA/QC, analysis, laboratory testing and field services as required to meet our Clients' expectations as projects advance to constructionClient consultation and maintenanceSales and marketing efforts to develop new business and growth of the companyPreparation of proposals and contract documentsAssistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company

    Requirements:
    BS Civil Engineering0- 3 years of Geotechnical experience preferredE.I.

    NOVA's facilities include AASHTO-accredited laboratories in soils, concrete, aggregate and hot-mix asphalt testing/inspection. We also have CCRL-inspected laboratories for concrete sampling, curing, and testing.
