- Production Planning:
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Ensure that production plans align with customer demands, inventory levels, and available resources.
- Resource Allocation:
- Assign and allocate manpower, machinery, and materials to meet production goals.
- Coordinate with the Materials Planning team to ensure timely availability of components and materials.
- Production Coordination:
- Monitor the progress of production activities, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability among production teams.
- Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with the Quality Control team to maintain product quality and resolve quality-related issues.
- Implement quality control measures and process improvements as needed.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels of finished products and components, taking action to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain records of production data, including output, scrap, and downtime.
- Prepare reports on production performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and enhance efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Three (3) years of experience in production coordination, manufacturing, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems.
