We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Scientist to join our Analytical Innovation team as a part of our broader Regeneron Cell Medicines (RCM) group.

You will focus on single-cell mass cytometry (CyTOF) technology to support characterization of analytical development samples.

As an Associate Scientist, a typical day might include:
Operating and maintaining of our mass cytometry (CyTOF) instrument

Managing reagent inventory to ensure constant supply of critical reagents

Supporting the Analytical Innovation team to conduct immunological phenotyping studies of Chimeric Antigen Receptor T cells (CAR-T), and Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMC)

Planning and carrying out experiments necessary to generate clinical correlative data

Optimizing current protocols

Performing all aspects of mammalian cell culture, including media and buffer preparation, culture initiation, propagation, and cryopreservation of cells

Assisting in technical review and writing of supporting documents including protocols and reports

Maintaining accurate and reliable record keeping including database management, batch records, notebooks, and all other pertinent documentation


This role may be for you if you:
Have excellent organizational skills, sufficient to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Have strong verbal and written skills; ability to provide focus and clarity, as well as able to handle confidential information and material appropriately

Are detail-oriented with the ability to operate and troubleshoot complex instrumentation

Are able to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize and balance work from multiple individuals

In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least a BS/MS and 0-2+ years of relevant experience in cell biology, immunology, bioengineering or related field.

Must have experience working with cell culture. Experience with flow cytometry and/or mass cytometry staining, and data analysis (FlowJo, Prism, etc.) is strongly preferred. We need someone willing to work with human biological samples. Must have working knowledge of various computer software and hardware to record scientific data and results to prepare reports. Familiarity with R, AWS, and VS Code is a plus.

Salary Range (annually) $68, $106,400.00
