SAFE, located in West Laurel, MD, is currently seeking a Research Assistant (M/F/d) to join our team. This is a part-time, fixed-term position for 9 months, with a starting date of April 15, 2024 or earlier. The salary for this position is in accordance with salary group E13 TV-H.

Responsibilities:

As a Research Assistant, you will be working on the BMBF-funded research project Green Auto Securitization (GAS), led by Prof.

Loriana Pelizzon.

The project aims to develop a framework for a green finance mechanism that encourages the financing of low-emission vehicles (LEVs) through bank lending.

Your tasks will include supporting the development of a database containing the ESG characteristics of auto manufacturers, analyzing securitized auto loans and leases, and designing a green Auto ABS.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with current enrollment in a similar Master's program, or a Master's degree in Economics, Banking and Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent.
Strong academic performance in your field of study.
