- Confirm and match all trades on a timely manner
- Monitor inbox to mitigate risk on potential settlement issues
- Resolving trade settlement issues in a timely manner
- Perform monthly CSDR investigation and reimbursements as needed
- Perform daily reconciliation of trade activity for cash and positions
- Ensure all functions performed by Operations team are in-line with Man Groups growth or contraction
- To continually review and improve the working practices/processes of the team.
- Continually improve data quality and consistency
- Ensure security data integrity across multiple internal systems
- To work alongside/with other operational departments to provide cover/product knowledge
- Maintain integrity of financial and confidential data
- Assist with periodic compliance and regulatory projects
- Opportunity to learn additional functions available
- Identifying actual or potential instances of non-compliance with regulations.
- Identify complex events and communicate to team members.
- Full understanding of financial instruments, specifically including Equity, Bonds and OTC (Swaps) - high.
- Broad understanding of settlement intricacies across multiple regions
- Efficient and ethical
- Accuracy with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain things clearly
- Strong prioritisation and planning skills
- Teamwork approach to work
- Ability to articulate Operational needs.
- Ability to build and maintain third party relationships - PBs / Custodians / Counterparties.
