Job Overview:
We are seeking Firewatch/helper for a contract job (2-3 weeks) in Beaumont, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Firewatch for a welder and grinder (Must watch for sources of potential ignitability, prepared to extinguish fires and equipment)
- Stopping work if necessary and conducting essential steps for restoring safe conditions within the hot work area
- Must be willing to be handson throughout construction process
- Operate hand tools, lifts
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass pulmonary function and fit tests, if necessary
- Required government background test and drug screen
- Must be a U.S citizen born and raised
- Must provide original birth certificate and issued identification card
- Familiarity with operating lifts, and other relevant equipment
- Strong work ethic and a team player
Job Type: Contract
