Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
  • Carry tools, equipment, and supplies to and from work areas.
  • Prepare job sites by setting up necessary tools and materials.
  • Dig trenches, excavate ditches, and create access points as required for plumbing installations or repairs.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Assist in the assembly and installation of plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
  • Connect pipes using fittings, soldering, welding, or other approved methods.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify any defects or issues.
  • Assist in troubleshooting plumbing problems and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Corrects

  • Never removes or renders ineffective any safety
    _ guards, devices, or clothing_ prescribed to be in place or worn
  • Complies with the
    _general rules_ as prescribed by company program(s) procedure(s)
  • Operates
    _devises or equipment_ as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s)
  • Participates in any
    _safety initiatives, teams, or committees_:
  • Reports all
    _injuries or incidents_ as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s) immediately
  • Provides input on developing
    _safety initiatives and plans_ to eliminate exposures that could cause accidents

Desired Skills and Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar plumbing or construction role is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
  • Valid driver's license is preferred.

Working Conditions:


  • This position requires physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Work may be performed indoors or outdoors, depending on the project.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.
  • May be required to work in confined spaces or at heights.
