Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HRIS Analyst with expertise in Workday to join our team. Reporting to the Head of HR Technology, the Sr. HRIS Analyst will play a critical role in the successful deployment and optimization of Workday, our chosen Human Resource Information System (HRIS). You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, Payroll, and other HR functional areas to support HR system enhancements, testing, issue resolution and other technical projects as part of a broader system implementation project.

Essential job functions and responsibilities:

Provide primary functional and technical support of HR applications, including security access, maintenance, administration, and systems integrity of HR systems.
Support the adoption, implementation, and enhancements of the new Human Resources Information System. Serve as liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders on this project.
Serve as the systems and process expert for implementations; lead projects around upgrades and configuration changes to align with business needs.
Configure Workday modules to meet business needs, including but not limited to Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, and Absence Management.
Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
Identify and develop key business reporting and management dashboards for HR leadership.
Provide technical training and support, trouble shooting, and guidance to HR team and other users.
Develop documentation, including business process documents, user procedures, training materials, and user guides.
Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology and understand statutory and regulatory requirements affecting HR, Benefits, Recruitment and Payroll systems.
Maintain current knowledge of privacy laws such as HIPAA and GDPR and ensure data is protected.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree required.
Minimum of 3 years of HRIS experience required. An ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience in HR or HRIS systems.
Experience with Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, and Core HCM required, experience with these modules in Workday preferred.
Prior experience supporting successful HRIS implementation or similar change initiative is a plus.
Familiarity with reporting tools and HR data flow into such tools.
Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, security, data integrity, and system configuration and design.
Excellent project management and communication skills, including the ability to translate between technical and business groups.
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated understanding of the concepts and issues unique to the management of HR data.
