Overview

This role focuses on implementing enhancements to manufacturing processes and procedures within the industrial plant to optimize work methods. It involves continuous evaluation of production processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement and overseeing manufacturing processes in the industrial plant.

Specific Responsibilities

Implement ergonomic and safety practices in manufacturing activities.
Enhance manufacturing methods through data analysis and evaluation.
Explore new technologies to boost manufacturing efficiencies.
Develop justifications for new product tooling and equipment.
Analyze workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow.
Collaborate with vendors to determine product specifications.
Estimate production times, staffing needs, and costs.
Coordinate with management and engineering teams for efficient production.
Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing personnel.
Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and equipment setup.
Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of relevant work experience or training
Proficiency in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement
PLC experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Capacity to define problems and draw valid conclusions
