Overview of Bookkeeper Role
Reporting to the CEO, you'll be responsible for monthly bookkeeping responsibilities. You will have a front seat in helping manage the business and client accounts, while providing stellar employee support. You are highly organized and lights up about numbers - and someone excited about completing bookkeeping tasks that help support our clients

Time Commitment: 40 hours per week, M-F between the hours of 8a-4:30p FT


Compensation:
starting at $30 per hour, based on experience.

Location:
Sacramento, CA - this role is fully onsite.

Status:
This role is an EMPLOYEE/W2 role. You must be legally authorized to work as a W2 Employee in the United States.


Responsibilities:
What you'll do

As such, we are looking for:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):

  • Financial Management & Maintenance
  • Accounts payable & receivable
  • Preparing & processing payroll
  • New hire onboarding/offboarding
  • Serve as HR Liaison with outside HR consultant
  • Account reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll
  • Compile and manage receipts and invoices
  • VA accounts
  • FMS processing and billing
  • Serve as backup for client trust reconciliations
  • Prepare accurate and complete financial reports for BOD
  • Prepare for regular and timely management reporting
  • Data Analysis and Graphing
  • Worker's comp compliance
  • Insurance purchasing
  • Client Services
  • Serve as the point of contact for our vendors
  • Handle highly sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Facilitate a warm and open environment
  • Operations and Teamwork
  • Submit all reports to Program Manager for review by the 12th of each month for final review
  • Self check all work before submitting to Program Manager/BOD to ensure accuracy
  • Manage and review Outlook calendar and recurring tasks and ensure project timelines are accurate
  • Meet all deadlines for tasks
  • Prepare and attend team meetings weekly/monthly
  • Maintain company SOPs and update as needed
  • Offer advice and collaborate with the Program Manager in regard to service and process development for the company
