Position Overview:


Integrated Labor Solutions (ILS) is seeking a customer-service focused Benefits Support Representative to join the SDPEBA team in San Diego, CA.

At ILS we pride ourselves on our ability to provide "Platinum Service," which simply means we do our best to go above and beyond expectations to make sure our customers and clients receive the assistance that they need, anticipate any future needs, and make sure they are educated on the products and services we provide.

As a Benefits Support Representative you will assist customers with their enrollment, help them to research and resolve any plan or provider issues they may encounter, as well as advocate on their behalf when necessary.


This is an entry level position in an Omni-channel contact center with many training opportunities for professional development, and career advancement.

Hours:
Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm (in office)

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes
  • Process enrollment changes and payments
  • Upselling and crossselling
  • Distribute benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility
  • Collect and report on customer feedback
  • Basic data entry
  • Perform other duties as needed

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Required:

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Must pass background and reference checks
  • Must be able to come into the office
  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
  • Type at least 40 words per minute
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Preferred:

  • Call Center Experience
  • Employee benefits experience (Health, Life, and/or other Voluntary benefits)
