    Our challenge

    We are seeking a Senior Data Management and Reporting Specialist with extensive experience in the banking industry to support Third-Party Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated reports and dashboards for Third-Party Risk Management and Procurement functions. This role requires a seasoned expert with a deep understanding of Snowflake data lake and PowerBI reporting platform, as well as a solid grasp of operational risk management concepts.

    Additional Information – New York Only*

    The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

    In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York is $140k - $160k/year & benefits (see below).

    The Role

    Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of reports and dashboards for Third-Party Risk Management and Procurement using Snowflake and PowerBI.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on data management and reporting, providing guidance and insights to the Third-Party Services team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs, translating complex requirements into effective data solutions.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of data, from gathering and warehousing to analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of risk management data across reporting platforms.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data management procedures and reporting protocols.
  • Deliver presentations and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Work collaboratively across teams to integrate data sources and establish cohesive reporting standards and practices.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for reporting enhancements and data visualization improvements.
  • Requirements:

    You are:

  • 12+ years of experience in data management and reporting within the banking industry.
  • Proven track record of working with Snowflake data lake and PowerBI reporting platform.
  • Expert knowledge of operational risk management, specifically in data/reporting aspects.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts clearly.
  • Strong ability to gather, document, and fulfill business requirements with high attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience in Third-Party Risk Management and Procurement.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives to successful completion.
  • Relevant certifications in data management, risk management, or business intelligence tools.
