Masa.
Kanai is a Japanese salon in the upscale and peaceful area of the Upper West Side


Responsibilities:


  • Greet and handle guests during checkin and checkout
  • Collect jackets, bags, and other guests' belongings
  • Schedule appointments using the Vagaro POS
  • Plan ahead while playing and rearranging the schedule
  • Handle payment transactions and perform end of the day sales reports
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding services, products, and appointments
  • Prepare water, tea, and coffee for clients
  • Maintain the appearance of the front desk and waiting area

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
  • US Citizenship or Green Card
  • Passion for the beauty industry and genuine hospitality
  • Clean and stylish appearance
  • Friendly and professional demeanor
  • Japanese language ability preferred (Not required)

Pay:
$20.00 per hour


Expected hours:
per week


Shift:

  • 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

  • No weekends
