    Description

    JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for reviewing a variety of loans to ensure that bank lending policies and financial interests are maintained, and that all necessary supporting documentation is complete.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Reviews a variety of loan requests to ensure that: (a) the loan request is properly documented; (b) bank audit policies are observed; (c) the loan is in the best interest of the bank; and, (d) supporting documentation has been thoroughly investigated.
    2. Works with originating loan officer to obtain additional documentation and become familiar with the loan.
    3. Works with bank's senior lending officials to define and review established credit policies, procedures, and criteria in view of new lending programs and customer requests.
    4. Summarizes status of portfolio quality and classified loans monthly and reports to President.
    5. Assists senior management in determining adequacy of loan loss reserve.
    6. Apprises each loan officer of the grade, quality, and condition of their loan portfolio.
    7. Performs other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the bank and its functions.
    8. Ensures confidentiality of all employee/customer records and information.
    Requirements
    1. QUALIFICATIONS:
    2. Preferred Bachelor's degree in banking, finance, or related field.
    3. 5 years of experience in commercial banking.
    4. Must have good communication and demonstrated supervisory skills.
    5. Must have good computer skills in MS Excel and Word.
    6. Ability to analyze complex financial information.
