    Sentara Brock Cancer Center, part of Sentara Leigh Hospital, is hiring a Mobile PET/CT Technician for a Full Time Day shift position.

    This position is for our Mobile unit which works within 6 different sites around the Hampton Roads area. Mileage reimbursement is offered. Travel to our Mobile Unit site is required. There is a heavy focus on Research and Oncology- both routine and specialty. There is a strong, diverse team in place and its a "great place to work" -the Pet/CT team at the Cancer Center.

    Pet/CT Tech's:

    Under general supervision, performs Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computed Tomography (CT) imaging procedures and related functions. Collaborates with leadership on technical issues, equipment performance, and quality assurance.

    Requirements:

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) registered or registry eligible required.
  • Registry eligible graduates must obtain certification within 1 year of hire.
  • ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
  • Must be able to travel to location as needed around the Hampton Roads area.
