Description

The designer will produce a variety of book promotional projects such as posters and bookmarks, as well as items for sales and marketing such as sell sheets, trade and consumer ads, website banner ads, and conference materials.

They will work on a variety of digital projects, especially online advertising such as animated gifs and website banners.


Understanding and working with various print and digital specifications and materials, the designer will prepare high resolution digital files for printing and online use including scanning; manipulating images, PDF creations, and color correcting.

This position will work closely with other designers as well as marketing and sales staff.

They will also work closely with the Promo Materials Production Coordinator, the Commercial Operations Manager, and SVP, Group Commercial Operations Director.


Required Skills and Experience:
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite
- with focus in InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator / Acrobat

  • Basic HTML5 proficiency and knowledge of other animation tools such as Adobe Animate a bonus
  • Strong understanding of four
- and one-color print production basics

  • Understanding of / Experience with font management tools
  • Basic understanding of web advertising creative (static and animated)
  • Good sense of color management as related to print and web publishing
  • Fluent with MS Office Suite including Outlook
  • Adept at trimming, tiling, cutting, and assembling clean and neat materials
