Position Summary
As the Service Sales Representative your primary goal is to develop new business in a specific market as well as maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers.
Additionally, the Service Sales Representative will follow up with customers throughout the selling process, assist customers with documentation, assist in formulation of marketing plans and provide weekly reports as requested.
You must be highly engaged and able to serve as a respected team member.Additionally, you will work with counterparts in Sales and Operations Leadership to ensure we are creating solutions that benefit our end user and Clifford Power equally.
Clifford Power Systems, Inc. is a privately held corporation currently supporting 170 employees in 9 offices across our footprint.This support includes providing standby power solutions for capital equipment purchase, leasing equipment, maintenance and repair of generator power systems and parts purchases.

Essential Job Requirements:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in the emergency power generation industry or planned maintenance sales experience in other industries.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proven track record of closing sales and obtaining new business
- Territory/Prospecting planning
- Experience in a fastpaced selling environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Can listen and develop a customized solution, though questioning and building value
- Gather data to help; identify equipment, purchase process and qualify timelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position will be working primarily indoors or outdoors in a climate controlled, smoke free environment, but also requires the employee to be moving through other areas on a regular basis.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
The employee must have a full range of body movements including use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, computer equipment and peripherals; and bending, reaching, and crouching.
