Job Description_**
Purpose and Scope:
  • The DAS (Distributed Antenna System) Technician I is responsible for the installation, adjustment and repair of DAS equipment and connections.

Responsibilities:


  • Installs DAS equipment.
  • Pulls, laces/stitches, and forms signal cables, power, and Fiber Optic Cable.
  • Installs basic ironwork, and fiber trough.
  • Terminates, tests and troubleshoots cables and antennae.
  • Completes sweep, PIM and fiber testing.
  • Properly labels all signal cable, fiber optic, and power cable.
  • Accurately documents work.
  • All other duties as required.

Skills / Other:


  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detailoriented.
  • Selfmotivated.
  • Willing to travel extensively, up to 75% away from local area.
$19-$22/hr


Education/ Training:


  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10, CPR, and First Aid are a plus.
  • Knowledgeable with EMT conduits, preferred.
  • Knowledgeable of various OEM and connection types.
  • Regular operation of communications equipment in a mobile environment (cellphone, laptop, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Familiar with multiple DAS manufacturers and their equipment, helpful.

Technical Requirements:


  • Intranet Access

Experience:


  • 1+ Year of experience working with DAS.
  • RF experience
