Court 16 offers tennis and pickleball programming to kids and adults at our three state-of-the-art locations: City Point in Downtown Brooklyn, Long Island City in Queens, and the Financial District in lower Manhattan.

We take a holistic approach to the sport, connecting mind and body to develop confidence and sportsmanship in our players, on and off the court.


Position Overview


The Member Service Associate is a key part of successful club operations including; client services, facility upkeep, sales, inventory management, product knowledge, and program facilitation.

They provide support to the management and coaching teams, as the team works together to provide each guest with a valuable experience.

This is a great position for someone looking to utilize their administrative and customer service experience, and grow their skills in marketing, the sports industry, operations management, sales and business development.

JOB SUMMARY:


  • Daily checkin of clients including welcoming them the facility, transitioning them to their coach/program, and providing further enrollment options
  • Maintain clear and accurate records in our database for client attendance, payment, proof of vaccination, etc.
  • Opening and closing facility including setting up appropriate courts as per the scheduled programs of the day, setting heating/cooling to optimal comfort levels, sanitizing work spaces and client areas, creating appropriate ambiance throughout the day by adjusting lighting, slide shows, and music
  • Assist in facilitation of community events, birthday parties, tournaments, corporate events, and arts & crafts stations for day camp
  • Monthly inventory of office materials, maintenance supplies, and retail items

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience working in guest/customer service and adapting communication styles accordingly
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, and extremely attentive to details
  • Consistently responsive, able to use creative thinking and resourcefulness when presented with a new or ambiguous situation
  • Proficiency and comfort with different computer and technology systems; knowledge of Google Suite, MindBody, and Hubspot a plus
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and use appropriate discretion
  • Interest in learning new skills, and taking on new responsibilities when appropriate

Pay:
From $24.00 per hour
